Great work on your paper boat. It looks like it’s working great in the photo, I think it was a really good idea to use a calendar page, it’ll be thicker and waxier than normal paper so it will absorb a lot less water.
I’m a little confused when you say it didn’t float until there was weight in it. Was that a miss type or did you mean something else?

Thank you for taking the time to check my blog post, what I meant to say is when I put the boat in the water it was leaning sideways so in order to balance the boat I filled it Christmas ornaments.

It was fine I wasn't sure it'll float at all when it was leaning sideways but I had to think of something to balance it.
