Camping Hacks
Create a list of all the items you could take with you on your camping this summer.
The first thing you'll need is waterproof outdoor tent / Folding camp chair / sleeping bag & Pillow.
For cooking you need a portable butane stove and extra spare gas canisters.
Pots, pans / Plastic plates, bowls / Cutting board & sharp knife / Paper towels / Salt / pepper /
Can opener / Biodegradable dish washing liquid / Large rubbish bags.
Don't forget these important items:
Flashlight / torch / Spare batteries / First aid kit / Sunscreen /
Aloe Vera (good for sunburn) / Insect repellent / Hand Sanitiser / Tissue / Wet wipes.
For clothing you need a few normal summer gear (shorts, t-shirts) & warmer clothes for in the evenings / Sun hat / Sunglasses / Swimming togs & towel / Rain jacket / Sleepwear.
Don't forget to stock up on canned food & dried fruits it comes in handy if the shops are very far away.
If you're on regular medication don't forget to take enough for the time you're away, also If you wear prescription glasses make sure you have a spare one in case of emergency (if it breaks) or contacts (+ contact solution & holder) / Personal hygiene items.

Ngā mihi o te tau hou
For today's activity we had to create a poster to share at least five ways of saying Happy New Year in different languages. I chose the Hieroglyphics as I am Egyptian and it represent the Ancient Egyptian Language. I also chose Arabic as it's the language for modern Egypt.
