Fiona here from the SLJ team. Happy New Year to you!
WOW! I am so impressed by your fruit and vegetable inspired artwork! I think Mr. Pear looks fantastic with two big blueberry eyes and a happy banana smile. Great work! His carrot hair is very curly... all your different fruits look great together.
Did you enjoy learning about the Italian artist Giuseppe Arcimboldo? I thought he was such an interesting artist and very clever to create such detailed paintings.
Keep up the great learning and blogging over the summer.
Hi Fiona, as a start happy new year and thank you for taking the time to check my blog. This activity was super fun, I did something similar when I was in year 2 in school. We used pictures from magazines to create a face.
I'm so glad you found this activity super fun! Using magazines to make faces sounds like a really fun activity too. I tried to make a face using the fruit and vegetables in my fridge - it looked very funny!
I'll keep an eye out for more of your awesome blogs next week!
