Hi Joanna, Absolutely well written and presented facts on Mr Herlihy. Isn't it awesome that his favourite country is Egypt. Your home country. I certainly would like to visit Egypt and when Mr Herlihy said that Egypt is his fav country I thought he would say because of its pyramids and history but I was not expecting him to say Scuba diving. We learn something new everyday.
As one of the seven wonders of the underwater world, the Red Sea in Egypt offers scuba divers some of the world's most beautiful coral reefs, plentiful marine life and a wide variety of diverse dive sites. The Blue Hole in Dahab is one of the most famous diving spots in the world and also one of the most deadly underwater diving spots as it’s 100+ meters deep.
Thank you Mrs. Dhaliwal, as I explained in the stereotype slide Room 5 did not long ago that people think of Egypt as desert, camels and the pyramids. You can do Windsurf or Kitesurf, there's also Cairo Opera House and Alexandria's Library.
Great piece of work Joanna. I stayed in Dahab when I was in Egypt so did all my diving there. I didn't get to do the Blue Hole as I am just a beginning diver.
