Math Perimeters and Areas

For today's task I had to do perimeters and areas for math and it was a bit tricky for me at first but I finally did it. Perimeters and Areas are basically addition you just add them up and I had to write the name of the shapes but I might've got one of the names wrong but at least I tried.

  1. Hi Joanna,

Really like how you have broken the numbers and shown how many cms is the area of the triangle. Well done!

  2. Great measuring of perimeters Joanna.
I'm not sure though about the area of the triangle, though.
If a rectangle had sides of 3cm and 4cm, multiplying them together would give an area of 12 square centimetres. If you cut that (3 x 4 cm) rectangle in half diagonally, each half would look like the 3x4x5cm triangle. So what is your best guess for the triangle's area?
Looking forward to hearing back. Best wishes, Mr Victor
